Drivers don't look like drivers anymore

I wear shorts and work boots,
I move heavy equipment all day everyday.
I get the occasional rock in my boot, it’s tough out here.

 

I loved reading that story, the good old days were definitely a time to remember. Long gone I’m afraid friend

 

I drive a dump truck. My customers are pleasantly surprised if I show up fully clothed. When the bar is set low, it's easy to shine!

I'd leave MN and stop for fuel and a bite there many years on my assault on the east coast.
6 stop Philly meat loads or 8 stop french fries to Baltimore.
The turnpike was my second home...

And to think, after reading about some of the unsavory looking types discussed in this thread, folks look at me like I have three heads for, I can only assume, wearing a tux with tails, patent leather shoes, white gloves and a cape. *shrug*

 

It's not your sartorial choices...it's just that you forgot to use a napkin after lunch. Most of us mortals get weirded out by a chin dripping with blood; just sayin.'

 

I thought of growing a beard so I could taste “lunch” for hours, but I heard beards collect all sorts of bacteria. Naturally, being a germaphobe, I did not consider the idea any further.

 

You dont have to be a pig, just cause you have a beard.

 

Us mortals call that a 'flavor saver'.
