Flip flops, sweat pants, t shirt, Indian decent, NEVER has a CB in the truck and always drives with a slight smirk on their face. Almost NEVER in a company truck. Usually always drives a white Volvo or Cascadia and their company name is usually written on some sheet of paper duct taped to the door.

Awhile ago I got on the bad habit of being way too comfortable using my phone while driving. Took awhile to realize how bad it had gotten. The solution was and is two phones- a flip phone, and an iPhone with no data, calling, or text. I have the iPhone to use for Spotify and audible still just need to download stuff ahead of time and I can still access internet if I’m somewhere with WiFi.

Everyone laughs at the flip phone but it’s been a great self correcting solution

A good headset is terrific. A bluetooth keyboard and a good headset is awesome. Leave the phone in a holder and use the keyboard/headset when it is safe to do so. With a physical keyboard you don't need to stare at and touch your phone. Or just stop using the phone.

Eh, say what you remember, but its always the 50-65 year old white "veteran" truck drivers in ky, tn and surrounding areas that are the worst offenders. Most of the indian guys i see have enough money to buy and use a headset

    Who’s gonna stop them?

See cops and DOT cops doing it too, all the time……

Had a guy run me outta my lane the other day. Thumb and index finger on the left side of the wheel and also holding a cigarette. RH scrolling his phone below the wheel.

    Loaded trains to boot.

    Scary stuff…..

I see everyone using cell phones.
    Trucks,cars,motorcycles..all of em.

Make the first ticket 1500 bucks.
Second 5000 and confiscate the phone.
Third time cancel all driving privilege.

I will be the first to admit that your generalization is not any worse than his, so I won’t comment further on that. Since I fit in the age demographics and geographical location of your generalization I will say this. As soon as my 56 year old White, Ky driving ### sells my next batch of moonshine, I will be able to afford one of those things you wear on your head and talk into. Until then don’t pull up beside me if you see me weaving! You know what they say when you assume? You make and ##* out of you and me!

Look for a volvo or rarely freightliner being held together with duct tape and with diffrent style and color body parts. Bonus points for tassles or drapes. These rigs can be distinguished from bubbah rigs by the fact the bubbah ones have round beer can shaped stains all over the truck and the bubbahs typically drive older 1950s-1990s era trucks. Bonus points given if they have bags of sunflower seeds or corn nuts in the dash. Farmer trucks are covered in cow #### and bonus points for a straw hat and random john deere paint on it.
