But your sleeper berth is supposed to have "Adequate bedclothing and blankets", so they could get you there. Other than that, there isn't any reg.

yes there is somthing you can do about it, but you wont find the solution in the dot regs. if you can , and you can just depends on how far your willing to go, you can ignore there stupid regulations till they fire you , then you file suit against them and let a judge decide. most drivrs wont do that for a thousand different reasons thats how these people get away with it, but if your willing to go that far you will win and that company magicly will stop doing such all you have to do is MAN UP and fight for yourself.

Redhart if that was the situation I was in, I would also make a notation on each log the temperature that night. In the event you went forward with legal help in the future this easy to prove bookmark of temperatures will be simple to prove and help keep things organized while also showing the hours that you spent locked into a freezer.

I have no idea what the health risks are but sleeping in 20 degree air has to be unhealthy if done so on a regular basis.
