Very inconvenient I know, but remember that 19 year old kid slain on a beach in an effort to preserve your freedom from tyranny.

I’m apparently 10% Jewish, as 23 and me will tell me - and I’m sure I wouldn’t be here today without that soldiers sacrifice.

Not Shatting on you, but I really would like others to take a minute to appreciate why we have some national holidays. SOME national holidays.

Some of our most rabid political patriot types can't tell you the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. That's kinda sad.

 

One holiday is remembered by furniture sales and the other is remembered with car sales. /sarc

 

Look I ain't saying I'm unpatriotic for puck sake but these #### holidays screw everything up. You know the true reason for monthly holidays is, is so congress only gets like 28 days of work each month. Lol
And yeah our we really free in this country, Ive always say about the only freedom we have is what work we chose to be slaves at ie truck driver.....

 

Most places seem to be taking Monday off…….
