is the original owner of Yellow, what was his name, Fuzzy Knox...??

if so, does he have any vested interest in the company?

or did he sell it out right..???

Yeah, and they had ties to a taxi company called Yellow Cab which is why their trucks are bright orange but they were called Yellow.

I haven't seen many 10 Roads trucks lately, and noticed they aren't advertising for any positions around Chicago. Did their troubles finally get the better of them?

    Siinman and bzinger Thank this.

Swamp Holly Orange to be exact
Don’t remember what year....But they were looking for the color with greatest visibility to enhance safety the story goes
And if my weak ol memory serves somewhat correctly when it relayed to me eons ago by one of their p&d guys in
    NYC
DuPont created the color exclusively for Yellow

the name is unusual and i am trying to remember it.

isn't he the one that started the muck ups at yellow.???

    Dollar Bill Zollers......
In 2008, YRC posted a loss of nearly $1 billion during the Great Recession, and then in 2009 barely escaped bankruptcy when it convinced company bondholders to exchange $470 million for about a 94% stake in the company
Former CEO of troubled trucking company that got huge COVID loan is now on USPS board | Salon.com

In September 2011, the year Zollars stepped down, YRC underwent a restructuring that precipitated massive pay cuts — including Teamster union jobs — and "essentially wiped out any shareholder equity."
