    That's how they roll.
This time might not be so friendly.

This is silly. Clearly, Yellow have very little freight business, which means it can’t pay anything to Central States, in 2wks OR 30 days. They’ll be lucky to make remaining payroll, as it is. And, this is all without considering the elephant in the room; paying back the bailout.

I still think what will happen is some billionaire will step in and buy the company. Maybe Jeff Bezos would be interested in a union shipping giant to move all their freight

I just got off of a mass conference call with the Teamsters. The Monday strike has been averted. Unfortunately I am still in layoff status and my TM said there will be more layoffs before we go back to where we were.

Not hardly. Bezos isn’t going to pay union rates.

I'd call it quits as a driver, a shipper, a dockworker, hell if I was a janitor I'd wave the white flag! All this does is give false hope to employees whose morale is already halfway out the door. Instead of going out with a semblance of dignity they're negotiating 11th hour deals to prolong the pain.

Two weeks? I give them 10 days. God knows half their drivers must be updating their resumes right now..
