My best advice is to leave that phone in the glovebox, and just answer calls on it from a bluetooth headset.
Sorry to hear you had to learn the hard way how worthless some people really are.
My coworker reported my Facebook to management

Many of us know there is nothing we can do or say about your situation with a worthless person you thought you could trust, we don’t know the company policy on phone usage, but we do understand that many you thought you could trust, you can’t! We know that anything done on the web can be traced, companies that run these sites will give up information and access without your consent and it can also be hacked fairly easy so posting and using these sites can be detrimental to you in some situations. We know how to drive and what it’s like when 3 dumb ##### are sitting 3 car length back from where they should be in heavy traffic at intersections and how that affects us. So that’s what you got replies on not what you wanted but hey it’s free advice and opinions so hopefully there is something you can use in there someplace.
As for the severity? What do you think? What will our opinions on it do for you? Will it reverse the situation? Will it take back and nullify any counseling or write up you received? Starting to understand yet? Our opinion doesn’t matter to the management in your company and it certainly won’t change anything and we know that but the advice you received could definitely help you in the future if you read and comprehend it!
My opinion if you picked it up at a stop, someone had to wait when the light changed and so did everyone else behind you because even if you didn’t hold anyone up it happens all too often and your seemingly innocent actions are how it starts so I recomend a hanging in the town square and let’s nip this in the butt before it gets out of hand and your weaving into other lanes at speed!

ok, wow. first of all most of the responses were simply trying to help and you failed to see it. You stated that many of us failed to grasp what you were asking but what you failed to grasp is your company policy on cell phone usage. Had you grasped that little piece of info then the entire event would have been avoided. None of us can actually tell you what your company will do, only the management will be able to decide but the rest of us here were just trying to help you out. Best of luck.Albertaflatbed, tscottme, bryan21384 and 2 others Thank this. -

You need 2 different Facebook accounts. 1 personal-family and 1 for strangers. But I still wouldn’t put anything that could land you on hot water on any of those.

There was a case here a few years ago where a car driver received a ticket for using a phone while in a drive thru line. Technically still in control of the vehicle as it was not parked.
