Midwestern Distribution , Ft Scott Kansas

I also worked for MD from 83-85. Was in my early twenties. Had a blast!! Met some GREAT co drivers, wish I had kept in touch with them.always stayed at the Todd .Got to see 48 states before I left to drive local on the east coast. My name is Jim,used to drive #6332. Man we had some wild times in those days!! If anyone remembers that truck let me know!!

 

I went out there, checked into the motel. They gave me a list of places I could go while in town and a list of off limit spots they would fire you if seen there .
I ate supper at their expense, went to all the off limit places . Then checked out and caught a bus back home. Screw that stuff !

 

It was The Todd Hotel. Worked for Midwestern briefly in the early 80s and stayed there a few times

 

Todd, at the other end of town, I was there 1979, it wasn't that fancy. Driving for MWD was a REAL Experience.
