I got my front yard mowed today but then my mower started acting up. I'll pull the carb and clean it next weekend and finish. Lol

 

Has a ring to it.

 

Taking a 34 in Beckley tomorrow then rolling to Four Oaks Monday. The “can’t deliver until Monday morning” changed to 1400. At least there is some good food across the street at the State Artesian Craft Center.

They tore down the travel plaza place. Looks like they are going to rebuild it maybe.

 

I was going to the shop to work on my truck and thought I'd wait until tomorrow when it's supposed to only be 108°, lol.

 

I would've done it today. I don't like working in a shop when it's so cold.

Well the black cloud hanging over my ### is still there. Things were going smooth, went down to Palestine, TX dropped and bounced up to Terrell to grab a load to MN, ( only reason I left today was to get this load to MN by 15:00 Tues) . I get here and my load is not sitting outside the gate like it's supposed to be (shipper is closed weekends), all locked up nobody home. Call night dispatch, she calls leaves messages and emails, about 20 minutes later somebody drives up to the gate " you here to pick something up?".. yeah, I'd love to! "Where ya headin?" I tell him, "oh, hell that one got canceled, they shoulda got an email." F in beautiful!!.. fortunately night dispatch had a couple backup loads to choose from, so headin to the Dallas yard to grab pallets to drop at the CB yard tomorrow. As long as I deliver something south after that Tues itll still end up being a good week. But, I know better than to plan on anything at this point, too much time between now and then for something else to not go wrong lol
