Second time this has happened - about 10 miles out, patched - then further up the box about 200 miles out.

I’ve got 3 guys from the shipper that have photos and a plan for better wrap securement.

That 3M flashing tape is some super sticky stuff. Forget Duct tape for silencing that pesky child - this stuff sticks like white on rice.

In other news, I started having a slight panic attack laying on top of the box, leaning over to get the tape on the top corner. It’s only 14 feet off the ground - but my brain decided it would try to over ride my will.

When I load I find it way faster to walk on top and drop the straps over the side - I’m fine with that so long as I stay a couple feet back from the edge. Putting the edge protectors on I crawl hands and knees.

And my stutter has returned. I used to stutter pretty bad as a young kid, but it went away.

It’s like a logjam of thought that you can’t quite push down the river - it’ll pass I’m sure.

And I can now operate the fancy skid steer a bit better now. I helped the other driver with it this morning for practice.

Reset 34 from Fri night - Sunday am - spent the time loading, getting parts, groceries, water , laundry will have to wait. Managed to load box before the heat advisory kicked in, had to finish up in the afternoon.

Ain’t worked this hard in a long time.

    Thanks for sharing your adventure.

As someone who froze up one time climbing up inside a lattice crane boom, I completely understand what heights can do to a person. Managing to work through/with it is not easy. Kudos to you.

3M makes some of the best tape in the world. We used them a lot for Display making and never had any issues with them. They have so many types of formulas that they can do anything if they understand what you want.
