I can honestly say trucking is getting out of control. That’s pretty sad.

I’ve been away from the Truckerreport for a while and very busy working, but it doesn’t seem like the same forum as I used to know, I don’t know.

I remember trucking back in the 70s compared to today completely different. I don’t know what happened.

watching the video of this guy and he’s driving a truck my gosh I don’t know. I don’t know what happened to trucking. This is not right.

Heck fire han, I started in 1994 an things are vastly different today then they were even back then. I did ride alongs with my uncle back in the late 70's an early 80's. Way back then was a different era in time for real. The entire world has changed a thousand times over an not necessarily for the better.

 

I've had my glad hands disconnected while I slept in 2017. I've had other company drivers put cut customs seals (the ones you need heavy duty bolt cutters to cut) under a tire to cause a flat tire in 2000.

 

You saved yourself 7 billion brain cells right there my man!

Truck stops are private property. That should make this a civil matter so, no automatic arrests.

One sure way to tell if someone is a drunk, or an addict, is to get between them and their drug. As we've seen here, all h*** breaks loose. If you've gently mentioned to the suspected inebriate they've had enough and their response is over the top walk away, immediately. Or, do what you want.
