That's good to know, thanks for researching. I'll probably use an on-line retailer at home when I have more time, and price shop them over local stores. I wonder if they take national accounts, assuming LCAPP is a 'national account equivalent'.
The journey begins - purchased a truck.

Thanks - I just noted that at the top of my list of 5 tire stores to call in the morning as an alternative.
I stopped just west of Omaha tonight and will get on it in the morning.
List of priorities is -
- Do you have that size?
- How many?
- Can you mount and do you own a torque wrench

- Can you get rims - and I'll get 2 rims and 2 tires for spares?
- Location to route
- Price

I always swore I'd never buy tire equipment - but this weekend also taught me to 'never say never'.
Great points and advice all of you, thanks again. Hope you have a safe and blessed trucking week.RStewart, High Stepper, IH9300SBA and 11 others Thank this. -
As for tires, have you checked Walmart? Might think I'm joking, but they do have inventory and if not in the closest store, you might still be able to get them in 2 days or less. Not sure if the stores can or will do commercial tire mounting, but sometimes the finding part is harder than locating someone to install it?
I have this in the shop - Torque wrench, breaker bar, and you can flip the head to go counter clockwise. Costs a little more than a clicker, but you don't need to remember to reset to zero after use.

In the truck to save weight, I figure I can do a "close enough" feel for 450# to get down the road and pointed home.

I actually did discount the multiple search results to Walmart and Sam's as Google sales - I'm hoping tomorrow will yield full service results.
This little journey has learned me quite a bit. Thanks. I'll probably buy that Torque wrench.High Stepper, IH9300SBA, dwells40 and 9 others Thank this. -
