Next load, swap my step for a flatbed in Arlington. Then pick up scissor lifts in Redmond going to Atlanta, Warner Robins, Garden City (GA), and final out in Sanford, FL.

Considered going around but I was on a very tight timeline. As it was I pulled into the port at 1:58 for a 12-2 pickup window.

Finally got to strech my legs out and do over 600 miles in a day for the worst time in well over a week. 630 or so today to land me outside of Charleston WV. Hoping to hit STL tomorrow and just maybe swap somewhere in central Kansas on Saturday. That would put me at just shy of 14k for the month, not likely to happen but a guy can hope. Maybe they will have me take it to Wichita.
for the last week or so I’ve been thinking tomorrow was the last day of the month, I got a little excited when I saw it was actually Saturday. -
There was 4 or 5 SPD's picking up there today(counting me). I got 4 big scissor lifts, one small scissor lift and a 16,000 lb articulating boom lift. And, I am pulling a non-Wylie trailer...
Winnyf1, Lonesome, kylefitzy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Saw a red Wylie with aluminum flat bed with I think 3 Cat track skid steers on board today, at the La,Ms west bound scales when I went by. Nice looking rig I thought. I honked in case it was you but, must not have been since it looks like you’re goin East. Be safe!Bumper Thanks this.

I will never drive a truck with a Wylie logo on it again. We are partners with Wylie, not totally taken over by them...yet.

Never say never.

Had an interesting experience this morning. Rolling across WA somewhere between Moses Lake and Ritzville I noticed something black coming across the median. I get a little closer and realize it a truck tire and wheel from one of those grain wagons with the extra steerable tag axle, and it is bouncing across my lanes. Fortunaltly it cleared everyone, bounced over some construction barrels on the shoulder and then cleared the DOT fence on my passenger side. I looked back in my mirror to see the truck that was going the other way pulling over. Could have been a real bad day.
JoeyJunk, Oxbow, Itsbrokeagain and 9 others Thank this. -
That could've been real bad.
