FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Some people call me a Ford person but I’m really not. I only like one platform of cars that they made. I’ve never really been a truck person so I don’t get the Ford v. Chevy debate. My first car was almost a Plymouth minivan. But that was because I lived with my Grandmother and she was wheelchair bound.

 

I change every 3,000 miles for regular oil and every 5,000 for synthetic

 

I really wanted a small pickup like an older Ranger or S-10 but I found out that I was too tall to fit in them

I was a tech before I started driving in the late 80s and don't even get me started on all the junk GM built that I worked on.

 

I want an older 80’s Caprice but good ones are getting expensive and hard to find

 

Yep impalas and caprices of that Era were well built cars ....unless they had the garbage 4.3 v6 in them or the 5.7 diesel.
They are a rarity now .

 

Have you ever noticed how quick Mobil 1 turns dark brown quick. It collects carbon helps keep it off ring lands and pistons. Newer engines don't slugg up with synthetic oils they carbon up. That's why I drain if I have time at 3500.

 

Hey Chris, remember the nightmare at McKinley Paper, ya know, the place I said I'd never go back to?..... just left there lol.... in and out in 30 minutes!!

 

Yeah... I could see that being a problem... but, if ya find one ya like, I got a couple sawzall's!!! Fix ya right up buddy!
