Drove by going west this evening. Looked like a third truck may have crossed from the westbound side and overturned on the eastbound shoulder several 100 yards before the rear accident. Either way it looked like a terrible wreck.

I’m wondering if the Amazon truck just pulled off the shoulder from a dead stop in front of XPO? Sort of looks that way in this picture and if that is the case that would not be shocking in the least since more of that garbage is happening more and moreOpus Thanks this. -
I think that's a secondary accident.
That doesn't look like what I saw. I saw a dry van with have of the entire trailer missing and freight all over -
Wouldn't be surprised. See that out here almost every day. They'll finish up playing on Facebook or messaging dispatch then wheel right out into oncoming traffic. What are drivers thinking? There's not even a valid excuse to park on the shoulder if a vehicle can drive to the nearest exit. I was taught to never stop on the shoulder unless the truck won't go.

If you see an Amazon truck parked on the shoulder, call customer service and turn them in. They will be Banned. They've sent many emails and alerts asking co. owners and drivers to NEVER park on the shoulder. When that didn't work, they went to asking for people to report any Amazon branded equip. parked on the shoulder without the proper emergency equipment displayed and they will investigate to see if it was an emergency or not.

If I knew how to get a human being calling Amazon I wouldn't be worried about a truck parked on the shoulder, I'd be asking 100 questions about my recent orders.

Good to know! Out of the 20 trucks per 600 miles a day I drive 5 days a week I see parked on the shoulder…..2 have legitimate issues and triangles up, 2 are being serviced by a technician, and the rest are doing something that could be taken care of at the next exit on the ramp shoulder. I’m sure some of those 16 are broken down BUT I know not all of them are and half of them are Amazon contractors.

Even though I said what I said earlier, good luck getting ahold of anyone...
Bud A. Thanks this.
