What the actual? They wrote you up for that?!?! I almost never deliver the earliest I can possibly get to a window appointment and I've never heard anything. Sometimes they send loads I have to get before what I set my pta as, but never had anything said if I deliver at noon instead of 0600 or whatever.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the terminal managers are given some unofficial quota system for write ups. Something like 3% of the drivers under their management per month. 600 drivers = 18 write ups. If it’s the end of the month and they put it off they’ve got to pull some out of their ### by doing nonsense like this.

It’s what lazy managers do. Instead of being active and taking an actual interest in safety they become passive and obsessed only with metrics they know their bosses look at.

You are literally surrounded by people in “management” who are phoning it in, doing the absolute least amount of work possible at all times.

 

How do you tell if you've been written up for anything?

 

They pretty much act like they’ll out anything on your file and act like it’s none of your business..these companies tend to be very vindictive

 

Crete has reduced the shop hours at all their terminals and now they are requiring all A and B service be done at the shop terminals. This means more waiting and sitting at the terminals.

Lincoln is absolutely a bunch of idiots…they’re inept all the way to the top…the knuckleheads aschoff and kutter all they do is tell drivers to communicate communicate but yet Lincoln thinks it’s a one way street…it’s going to be a downhill spiral unfortunately for that company…the good drivers aren’t going to put up with garbage what they’re doing…
