Food service will hire anyone. As long as you were driving a truck and trailer I think you should be good.

 

I think so. I used to work for FedEx ground pulling mostly doubles and not much experience pulling a 53 but Saia still hired me to work local making deliveries in a 53.

Yes, you're over thinking this. Take the job and don't talk too much until you talk the food service company into not hiring you.
Tell them you pulled 32 ft. to 36 ft. to 48 ft. to 53 ft.
Say, "I don't know for sure, I just know they were all lengths from 32 to 53."

 

Shouldn’t be much of an issue in fact it may be an asset. If you can back up one of those pup trailers, you can back up anything!

And if you get the chance to pull doubles, pull them. That experience comes in handy when it’s time to go to that LTL job.

 

Based on you doing food service now, I'd assume you're planning on staying local for good. The only experience issue you might run into down the line is companies wanting OTR experience if you ever take a regional or OTR gig. There are plenty that don't require it though, so you should be alright. I got hired at 21 by two different carriers with only local experience. It was apparently 'preferred' by one company since local experience usually means more time in tight situations.
