I have also figured out that my company has better pay, better equipment, better management, better dispatchers, etc.. than that dumpster fire in South Sioux City. I’d rather drive a Crete or Werner truck than K&B. Only fools and suckers work for that sorry excuse for a company.

Cool man. I am glad that you have a job that you're happy with and that works for you. At the end of the day, they're all jobs and we all get out here and work hard. I'm not one to talk about anyone's place of work, it's helping someone pay their bills.

There's an arse for every seat, a car salesman once told me. If the dude is a driver, and found a home at K&B, more power to him. Just because it doesn't work for you or me, doesn't mean it doesn't work for any one else.

Way back in the day on paper logs an were expected to do crazier things than 17 hr days. Most thought nothing of it. Just hand the D.O.T man or the company a legal log an carry on. Out of hours, well here's another log book an see ya. I'm tired boss, well the suns up, grab a cup a java an you'll be good. We would sleep at the docks for however long a nap we could get an keep on truckin.

You really think they solved the gripes? Listen to a huge majority of these whiny #####es crying about 8 weeks out, not have of the same truck, calling this dude a liar and a recruiter…. Plz, this forum is full of nothing but miserable whiny babies who want to drive banker hours and get paid like a surgeon. It’s laughable… nobody wants to work anymore…. I think it’s a great deal and if it works for him, good on him! Keep on Truckin brother! I am a contractor for Fedex which is a great company FOR ME to work for and there’s chock full of bad posts here about them too! Don’t give too much into what these people say on here. A lot of them are miserable in their own jobs and want to see others there
too. Just calling how I see it gents. Be safe out there….

Bud A. and bryan21384 Thank this.

The thing is that there’s a lot better companies in that region to work for, yet they work for one that’s known to be bottom of the barrel

@BigSean416 if you know so much about your company, what is the turnover rate there? Turnover rates can tell a lot about a company

I don't know the exact number and I really don't care but I'd say its probably a little over average due to crybabies who can't cut it here at K&B.

It's not so much that anybody thinks it's crazy or couldn't do it. But you don't know how hard that guy in the video has been running up to that point. And honestly we're not living in a world of paper logs anymore. And yeah I know he can legally do it on ELD but that's not the point. The point is fatigue is a real thing.

And what's wrong with expecting a little better management on the part of the company? At some companies that #### not only wouldn't fly, it wouldn't even happen to begin with. Think about how ridiculous it is to wake up after a 10 hour break to be told "drop your empty 20 miles down the road at the shipper, take another 10 hour break while they load it, then rock and roll straight through to the delivery".

That's bull ####. Not to mention the pay probably doesn't come anywhere close to compensating for it. Because a lot of drivers don't have a backbone to stand up and say "#### this" it continues to be how they do it.
