well if i personally stay out 6 days i cant get any miles. and you only get 1 day off which sucks. i stay out 12 days, get 2 days off, and i get plenty of miles.
I'm in midwest was told i'd run MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY and thats not really accurate. And they'll send you wherever they need you, really. but i like the pay and hometime flexibility...
But like, I go to PA, ON all the time, hardly ever go to KY or MN, more often than those i go to NYC, VA, NC, SC, NH, GA, FL, etc....LOL.
I just had a load where i was supposed to take it to MB but I had to swap it with another truck in Chi Town at the Channahon drop yard.
Honestly when i get stuck out on the east coast i get a lot of miles because its so far away from home that the load home is going to be nice and long... -
My friend Homer from Ws Dallas terminal had a heart attack while leaving the yd at D, ran over about 10 no parking signs but hes doing OK. Gonna call him around 10 today. If any of you know him, let me know. He said he was busy at the time, running to Van Horn and back.

oh my, I hope he is ok. I'll say a prayer for him.
I am back from the doctor and to my suprise my blood pressure checked out fine... lol guess I got White coat syndrome in my DOT physical. So i called and confrmed my orientation date for the 22nd. -
Also on Sunday evening March 7 on I-10 westbound leaving Phoenix a Werner driver suffered a fatal heart attack and wrecked. The back up was 3 hours so I had time to Google it and found an article saying he was 56 years old. It happened around 5pm and I came through around 10pm. He had been hauling cardboard and his trailer and cargo broke into millions of pieces when it hit the center divider so the clean up took awhile. Hate seeing stuff like that, that is no way to go !
Passin thru, hope your friend is doing okay and on the way to a speedy recovery. -
thats great maybe i'll see you there monday morning

That's what the hubby is too... Midwest Regional with 48 thrown in.. lol He mainly gets those states you listed too.. w/ PA and NJ thrown in too. He also chooses to stay out 2 weeks at a time more often than not since the miles weren't showing on 1 week at a time... then again.. they aren't showing on 2 weeks either..

Passin... my thoughts are going out to your friend..
Hope he heals up quickly...
