Just doing accounting now, I've noticed that TA/Petro and Loves limit my discount at these locations - to a product total of $850.
I go to the Comdata site to reconcile my fuel receipts and reflect the true discounted price I am paying as to not offer a red cape to a potential auditor from the IRS - it's a bulky and easy place for them to start, FYI.
Once the pump hits that amount, it reverts to the pump price.
I have 300 gallon capacity and would fuel according to access while over dimensional, and access to discounted stations on a westerly run - so I'd often hit the $850 on the pump quickly.
Just a heads up - haven't heard anybody mention this. Cheers - B.

#### sneaky way of doing things. I guess maybe a work around is two fill ups in a row. Would that circumvent the $850 cap? What I mean is, is it $850 cap per fill? Per day?

I always hated comdata…..

I would think so. Pretty hateful if it's a 'per day ' limit.Flat Earth Trucker, Oxbow, cke and 3 others Thank this.

Im sure you asked them, but what did they say when you asked for a limit increase?Flat Earth Trucker, blairandgretchen, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this.

I've been wondering why my settlement has it broken down!

It's not a card or credit limit, it's the amount they allow at the discounted rate. I'm sure it's in the fine print somewhere, but it should be more apparent, so folks stop at $800 odd to get the discount, and move on.Bean Jr., Flat Earth Trucker and LoneRanger Thank this.

Its not like they are trying to actually save their customers money, why would they actively reduce their profit margins?blairandgretchen, gentleroger, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this.

So I’m not clear, is it comdata or the fuel supplier that has this total ? And is it daily or per transaction?
I know nastc has no such rule……blairandgretchen and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
I see, I guess an old rule of thumb thatmust be revisited by them because it doesn't apply to today’s fuel prices.blairandgretchen, gentleroger, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this.
