    I have this on deck

A used plasma cutter going back to Dewey, OK to be rebuilt. An awkward off balance machine, but thankfully it had a couple tiedown loops underneath the unit that I can get a good angle pulling back to the drivers side because I don't think those chains on the right (in the pic) would do much to keep it from moving sideways.

Those are always quite awkward. About the only time I cross chain something is when the securement points are close to the edge of the deck.

“drive the load” and you will be fine. Good people in Dewey and you can park over night there if you want to.

I guess I did a good job securing and driving like a professional...made it thru the gorge and Knoxville traffic without it moving an inch.

McDonald's needs to sell adult sized Happy Meals. I decided to stop in Baxter, TN for the night, was trying to maneuver to line up to back in a spot(with my 4 ways on), and a half-tard driving a Stevens truck pulled right in front of me and just stopped waiting for me to move so he could back in the spot across from me. I ended up getting out and pounding on his trailer and telling him to get his sorry ### out of the way or we're gonna have traffic backed up Knoxville.

I dislike the gorge and Steven’s drivers equally.

And I forgot to mention, he's one of those kind of drivers that uses his dashboard as a storage compartment...he has so much dash trash I am surprised he can see out the windshield.

Had my 1st 600 mile day in a while today...after this whole pay plan crap, plus 2 back to back OD loads, I really haven't had the desire to burn up the roads lately.

The wife sent me a Facebook post from SPD. It's a picture of the inside of the Arlington shop with nothing in there but new trucks being prepped...no wonder we can't get anything fixed up there, they're too busy messing with the new trucks.
