Sitting at the loves in Pecos, Texas. A swift driver come around the back row at such a high rate of speed that even with the empty trailer, he hit a small hole in the pavement and his trailer. Literally all axles on the trailer came off the ground. At the same time he did that he was driving around the back of somebody backing into a spot next to me…
I went and confronted him, and simply asked him if that was him in the swift truck and he said yes, and I said I would ask that you please slow it down through these parking lots because you darn near hit another truck in the back his excuses were why the trailer bounced because it was empty.
Then it was the potholes caused his trailer to bounce off the ground … Then he said “don’t treat me like a newbie” never once sitting there, saying that he realize he was in the wrong and will slow down in the future… Much to say got his unit number I’m calling, swift turning his behind in I’m done putting up with this crap .. he claims was only doing 10 miles an hour, but I highly doubt it because he went by in a blur.

Seeing reports on YouTube comments, etc. that dynamic is primarily autos now, can anyone confirm?

Fred used to have car haul equipment but it dried up for him and he got rid of them and Flatbeds went not much later too, but kept a few Conestoga for the Boeing runs -

I just found these guys through facebook advertising the other day so obviously I am taking some time to mull it over, but I saw someone post a pic of their rig parked at home. Do they let you drop the trailer and park the tractor at home? Or is that reserved for long time drivers, etc...
I think that's my last question about them, and I suppose I could ask a recruiter that question, but I've found recruiters will say almost anything to get you into orientation so I prefer to ask the drivers themselves.
Looking forward to moving forward with this company if they'll have me! I've been driving on a CDL for 2 years now but it's all been tanks, flats, dumps, and lowboys. I've never bumped a dock in my life but I learn quick so hopefully they can work with me on that one -
