Try Taco Casa. There's one at the Duke's/TA in Mount Vernon, TX along I-30. The Cotton belt bbq is also quite good.

Unfortunately, Taco Casa seems to be limited to the greater DFW area. Taco Casa is like that quaint other taco place from thirty years ago.

 

I don't remember them being anything special. Just another big fleet running fleet spec junk. They did have some hideous cabovers though.

 

IIRC, they were actually a pretty decent place to work for a big fleet. I seem to remember much angst that Swift was going to ruin the place.

 

Swift ruins everything they get involved with I swear.

 

Yes, the IH cabovers that looked like they were speced like the JB Hunt COEs IIRC.

 

I showed up for orientation, found out all the lies I was told ( or maybe enough of them) that I left before lunch and went to bus station headed home
They were merged with swift few months later

 

I remember the wedge-top Freightliner COEs
