Which one you going to? Sounds like they just need to test drive mine in the morning and I’ll be able to pick it up in Lincoln.

That store has really changed from what it used to be. In the old days Bill would fix you a deli sandwich with a knife that probably never got washed, just wiped on his apron to clean and old men sitting around the wood stove trading lies. The Carharrt gear was in a back room literally piled on the floor sometimes 6' tall. You just started digging looking for your size.hotrod1653, dwells40, BigR and 2 others Thank this.

Council Bluffs.
This is why i’m glad i’m a company driver. Problems with the truck or potential hotel stays are on their dime, not mine. Being L/P or O/O has its benefits, but stuff like this takes so much stress off my plate. Sure, sitting around sucks but oh wellgntorres61, IH9300SBA, DonRobbie and 2 others Thank this. -
Best bologna in the Midwest if you ask me!

Yeah, it's way easier to navigate now. Those girls that work there can whip up a sammich REAL quick. Several of them are REAL easy to look at too. I just wish they carried better flashlights. I have never really liked those NEBO lights.IH9300SBA Thanks this.

Checked into the Peterbilt dealership here and saw a sign on the wall say that the labor rate was $174/hr. Unreal. If my local shop told me he would charge $174/hr to work on my car, i’d tell him to go fly a kite

They ain't dealing with cars, totally different world....any dealership is always gonna have higher rates, just like with automotive shops. It's the same difference, everything's just more expensive with big trucks. On your personal car most people freak out if they have a repair bill for a few hundred dollars... on a big truck a repair bill under a grand you feel like you got off cheap most of the time lol...cost of doing businessrokue, dwells40, popcorn169 and 4 others Thank this.

Got my truck out of the dealer. Supposedly they fixed what was wrong. I give it a week before something else breaks on this truck. It was fine until it hit around 440k back in December and now it’s just seeming to fall apart
