Fatality accident involving PAM Transport truck on I-40 west of Asheville, NC

Both times I've taken I-40 through that area, I got jammed up by wrecks. One was an hour long road closure also somewhere near mile 40 (vehicles involved were removed by the time I got through, so no details). The other was a single-lane closure for a truck rollover close to the TN border which also set off a small brush fire in the adjacent mountains.

I remember seeing a car flip into the median and a body get tossed out and then smashed under , the first thing I said is boy howdy I'm glad I'm not going to be stuck in this traffic.
