When you say cost his livelihood, explain what that means? Is that driver dead?

He means it financially wrecked him

Underwater on a loan means even if the insurance paid the cost of a replacement truck, it wouldnt cover the outstanding portion of the loan.

Then because the driver is at fault, he'll have fines, and accident costs, not to mention a likely lawsuit to fight too.

And if involved in a high profile wreck that recent, gonna have a hard time being hireable to drive

He wasn't a year into the updated truck and interest was at an all time high so he still owed a large amount after putting everything he had into his 'last' truck before retirement so he had no funds and little chance to drive for someone else.

gets really bad when these husbandless oxygen thieves attach themselves to tired driver's roadside steer like a light eater and use him to spin up a half mile of violence on her way back to a dead garden. these two lanes are a dirt bound bingo wing's wet dream. 81 through Virginia, 77 North of Charlotte, the road rage is a fire, if you look close there's certain specific comfortable types dumping gasoline on it. can we all take a moment to celebrate women's history?

If he was driving for over 20 years, what was he doing with his life and money that caused him to not have anything?
