An extremely large truck load, known as a "super load," turns from O'Neill Drive to Milliken Drive just north of Hebron in the Newark Industrial Park on Monday. It was the first of nearly two dozen super loads traveling to Hebron and Intel's semiconductor site in New Albany in the coming months.

I know guy who got wrote up for not having minimum 2 straps, incase one got loose, and no BoL, so he then kept a hand written bolhope not dumb twucker, austinmike, Chinatown and 2 others Thank this. -
Didnt think you needed 2 straps for anything less than 5 feet and (I think) 1000 lbs.....

You don’t need a BOL for your own property either, but never let facts get in the way of a good lunch counter story.

What's Intel doing out there? Setting up a new fab?
Under 10 ft but over 5,000 lb needs two straps. Whatever the intent it seems to be good for keeping the front pallets on a load of pallets from twisting out from under the straps. Additionally if it is blocked in the forward direction by a bulkhead only one step is needed that's why you see flatbed loads with two on the front pallet and all the rest have one. -
Yup they are building a new fab thereChinatown Thanks this.

According to the lovely state of Indiana, anything tied down on trailer is considered “cargo” and if the guy was still alive i could have him send me a photo of his citation.
