FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Don’t know much about the actual location but I would for sure stop in Pennsylvania before going in to NJ. Just make sure to have enough time to get in and get out. You don’t want to be caught in Jersey with no time on your clock

 

i think i’m on the cheapest health insurance FCC offers. I pay about $45/month for health, dental and vision. I also put more into my 401k than the default amount

 

I was. Went back OTR at the beginning of the year. More money, more miles, and i can take several days off in a row vs only a 34 or 48 at home over the weekend, which i prefer a lot better

 

That's pretty cheap. Lol

I get that. Weekends off is nice but when you have a bunch of stuff to do when you get home they sure get short really fast. How long do you stay out for now?

 

I’m alternating between 20 on/4 off and 25 on/5 off. Currently doing the latter right now. 3-3.5 weeks is a happy medium for me. I stay out long enough to make decent money but not long enough to get burned out. Every once in awhile i’ll push it to a full month but i don’t like doing that on a regular basis

 

Snagged a load out of Fremont comin to the drop yard at KC. Home for the weekend my dm said she’ll have something for me first thing Monday. Getting my stuff in the truck as we speak and playing around with the apu. I haven’t had one of these since me and @bzinger worked at GO. Everyone have a good weekend!

Haha well that’s comin I’m sure. I can’t remember to flip the sucker in N when I park and comin back from Fremont I about ended up in the passenger seat lookin for the stick, and pressed a phantom clutch pedal a number of times already. It’s a lot quieter than my Pete was for sure as far as road and engine noise. And when I Jake to a stop sign people don’t look at me like I’m an A-hole for once!

 

Double bunk but negative on the dinette. A really good size fridge tho! I’m not a complete lurch like our buddy @cdavis188 but I am 6’3”, and it’s nice to be able to stand fully up in the sleeper that’s for certain. I forgot how much I missed that.
