With the refrigerant being so expensive and regulated it’s not a surprise. In past few years price has more than doubled just like lumber

I remember having to take a course to be able to purchase and handle R134a. Dunno if that's still a thing around here these days.

If Climate Change is real, then I'm still wanting to know how a pre-industrial revolution ice age climate changed from a glacial distinct age to a warm period.
"Geological ice ages -- called glacial periods -- are characterised by the development of large ice sheets in the Northern Hemisphere. In the past 700,000 years, phases shifted between distinct glacial and warm periods about every 100,000 years."Gearjammin' Penguin, 201, RockinChair and 3 others Thank this. -
How do they know his plan was to sale them on FB and everything?
Maybe for his own AC.

It's definitely not a thing in KY. Was a yearly chore to take my car to AutoZone, pickup a can, and recharge the AC right around May. Not sure a coal powered state is a good basis for environmental protection though lol.AModelCat and Rideandrepair Thank this.

It’s currently about $15 a can at Wal mart. About 3x the price within 3 years. I’m usually stocked up with at least 10 cans. Haven’t paid the higher prices yet. I’ll be needing 5 cans soon. Good to know I may find it cheaper on Facebook. Lol.

You can buy those little cans anywhere. I was talking about the big 30 lb bottles.Thrasher28 Thanks this.
