I just got my CDL Monday April 8, 2024. But did not know I would come into the industry. I got a speeding ticket exactly two years ago for doing 20 over speed limit. I now know I wont get hired especially with no experience because I've been told by companies. Will OTR hire? Should I wait another year to re-apply? Should I use an attorney? I wish I had someone who knew about this to warn me to fix that issue or done my research before even getting my CDL but it happened and now I have to deal with it.

One Possible Solution:
Go to a beverage company as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, 7-UP, etc., as a dockworker, eventually working your way up to company training to become a truck driver for the company. For the most part, the jobs at these beverage companies are consistent & steady all year round. People drink soda all year round, regardless of the economy.
