Well the Old Pete hit 500225k today, haven't heard anything thing from the office yet so guess I'll call Mike tomorrow and see what the plan is.

 

Coming across 80 going eat from Kearney, the wind was threatening to toss me off the road.

 

Our experiences are opposite, I will leave it at that. And I’ve put about 625k on two different 579’s with 510/1850 Paccar engines since 2019.

 

there was a lone Mack sitting in the yard where they park the new trucks. Decals haven’t been put on it yet. We have a hand full of brand new flatbed trucks that have been sitting there for awhile

 

A Mack is a bad choice for anyone who spends several nights on the road. For those of us who don't go far, they have their appeal.

 

That's the problem with mine the engine is choked down so bad it can't preform like it should.

 

Ya I checked one out in Fremont terminal. There kinda tiny inside. Setting in the driver's seat the hood mirrors look like they were 10 ft off the ground kinda odd little truck.

 

What did you end up doing. Get in a loner truck or a hotel when my truck was at Peterbilt I breakdown pay for six days plus hotel reimbursement took pretty good care of me since they didn't have a loner truck to move into.

 

Raw veggies is the best thing to snack on. I congratulate you on trying to reduce poison intake. I myself am no sugar/no grains since that's what causes almost all of the inflammation. It can be done on the truck as well but you really do need some type of cooking device. I use an electric Skillet and can cook anything in it.
