Was is it with International drivers turning their trucks into submarines???
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
For the Internationals I have driven in the last decade and a half burial at sea was a more dignified end than they deserved.Sons Hero, RockinChair, austinmike and 7 others Thank this.

International drivers don't know they are not equipped with ballast tanks.
Wait a minute, I am driving an International.
I was driving south on I-45 Wednesday night to a delivery in Houston. Was the hardest, continous downpour I had ever driven in.
Didn't encounter any flooding. Learned that seeing a vehicle with its flashers on during a heavy downpour is quite obnoxious. It strains the eyes and makes judging distance between vehicles more difficult.Sons Hero, bryan21384, silverspur and 1 other person Thank this. -
I 100 percent agree with the assessment about driving with flashers during a downpour. I went through a serious downpour going down 45 last Sunday. When it rains that heavy, I'd rather motorists wait the storm out. I have the exact difficulty judging distance between vehicles too.Bud A. and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.

4 way flashers are absolutely useless IMO. Nobody uses them correctly so they mean absolutely nothing.
RockinChair, bryan21384, Bud A. and 3 others Thank this. -
You would think Houston drivers would be better at driving in the rain since it rains so often there. But no, Houston drivers are terrible drivers regardless of the weather.Flat Earth Trucker and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Ha
that driver just ran off the road trying to pass the black pickup on the right .
because none of the other vehicles had and issue with this section of road .
because they were driving on ,,,, the road ..
although driving through water like this is dangerous because a lot of times the water has washed out the pavement or soil underneath the pavement and you can’t see that . -
Do you carry a flotation vest in your truck?
100 ft of water skiers rope?
Sixty feet of drag chains?
