Sunday’s four semi truck, three car pileup still unexplained
Unexplained my ***!
Herd mentality, high speeds, chances are someone probably did a brake check when they shouldn’t have and the wreck was the end result!
There might be a couple of drivers looking for new jobs!

Please, brake check is never the problem unless someone whips in front of you and slams the brakes. The correct term is following too close.Flat Earth Trucker and Numb Thank this.

Well,that too.
But there’s a couple of S curves near there that can throw drivers off!Flat Earth Trucker and Bud A. Thank this. -
In that hard downhill stretch northbound before exit 24….where typically people get to runnin too hard and too close…someone backs out of it harder for the left hander and there ya go
Anyone surprised to see a Volvo?)Flat Earth Trucker, Bud A. and mjd4277 Thank this. -

Flat Earth Trucker and Bud A. Thank this. -
A green Volvo-yes! If its white or red, not so much.
On a high note,if the driver needs a new Volvo he doesn’t have to go far,the Dublin plant is only about a 10 minute drive up I-81 north!! lolLast edited: May 7, 2024
Flat Earth Trucker, Numb, Bud A. and 2 others Thank this. -
I'm not surprised that anyone gets involved in such wrecks: Those who would dare perform the corrective maneuver consistently (preemptive speed reduction) tend to draw out significantly more aggression on the road, in addition to the occasional extended period of driving at speeds well under the legal limit.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
