Well come on he wants to feel important even if nobody even knows him. I mean trusted traveler is the same as a Twic card you just pay more money for.Everything else he mentioned was just double talk to make himself feel important like access credentials security clearance and various other.We always called all of those things a twic card

 

I had a CAC when I worked on Fort Hood years ago. The FBI actually made phone calls to the references on my application and I was finger printed.

You couldn't owe the IRS, child support, or have a theft charge on your record.

That being said, it didn't cost me a dime. But it's also not a "security clearance" It's just proof that you're not a scumbag and you had a legal reason to enter their base.

I had one of their numb#### recruiters blowing up my phone a couple weeks ago, blathering in Russian accented English about how great their fleece purchase program was. Eventually I blocked them. If I had a choice between beheading myself with a dull plastic butter knife and working for those chitcago 1099 clowns I’d gladly reach for the knife.

my bet is they were a lease driver the piss and moan about everything. from fuel to fixing the truck. i never understood financing someone elses assets and lifestyles i missed that course in college!!! another lesson learned read the #### contract if not bring it to a lawyer or have OOIDA go over it they love fleese deals. them lease payments would make me feel punished if i wanted to go home.

 

why didn't you go to a used truck dealer like arrow trucks??? and by how your complaining you sound like you have no cabbage in the bank and your a broke ###!!! if that is so stay a company driver and save some money these things aint cheap.

 

and that's what gets em every time that big new shiny toy with payments that make em feel punished everytime they take home time LOL. id'e be happy with a beater with a heater a money maker and not a money taker!!!! with lower monthly payments than a brand new shiny toy.
