Actually - legally A B and C are all correct, but the answer they are most likely looking for is E. I cant find anything in the regs that prohibit a person from logging from 1 month into another on consecutive days off, so by that A would be correct. But I was taught to never put days from 1 month into another months logs. So the way I was taught (in 1984) would be C. But there is never a problem from filling them out day to day.Last edited: Jul 15, 2024
tscottme Thanks this. -
Ah - that may be what I was missing. We would write a one page log as off duty, with a date range marked - like . .
“10-16-2008 to 10-25-2008 OFF DUTY”
Turn that in and it was fine.
Never got flak when it involved a month turnover, we were company at the time.Sirscrapntruckalot, tscottme and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
The limitation isn't in the regulations. It is mentioned in the Guidance / FAQS
