How should a new employees handle these Driver Leaders who pass judgement on events not at all the fault of the new person? I see a lot of "CC"ing other people in the company when you just emailed only one person. Seems kind of like rigid method of communication.

Like there was a class offered and the class date was mentioned but not the time and I received no texts, email and voicemails did not inform of this time thing. I replied back when i saw the email. I was annoyed with the assumption that he did his due diligence but he did not apparently. If he just replied to me no problem but instead reported it to another person too.

They may be required to report progress, or lack of, to a number of their superiors -or- could be their own version of a power trip.

I remember Matlack getting voice mail when I was a terminal manager. Every time I left a message for my regional VP; I would receive a reply with 2/3 rds. of the upper management staff copied with a long diatribe why my idea wouldn't work. That system would play the original message AFTER the response so you got 2 3 minutes of why you were wrong followed by the original message really making one look stupid.

Solved that by using the private [unable to share them] messages which got me a butt chewing...
