Is there any mile stones that other potential employers would look at? For example miles driven, total loads, becoming a trainer myself, etc. Or is simply time based, hired Aug 25 - work October 3rd, does that count as 3 months even tho it was actually 1 month and 1 week?
Got my first Job, now what?

Some contracts for "free CDL school" require 100,000 miles of work or 12 months of work. Other than that most employers only care about years behind the wheel.Chi Town Steers Thanks this.

I'm confused. You joined the forum in August of 2015, asking about how to go about getting a CDL.
Now you post you are starting your first job as a driver.
Did it actually take 9 years to get your CDL, or were you just not sure you wanted to be a driver? -
Thank you for sending this home. We need less "influencers" and more professionals.Albertaflatbed, TripleSix, Numb and 1 other person Thank this.
