they have farms and stuff but would a driver want this? it's not just physical work but other conditions heat and being around animals to be killed. its one thing to haul the freight after its dead and frozen another be around live animals and such. I used to work at a rendering plant and it's a odor that takes a while to get used to we would take the leftovers from the slaughterhouse. Like bones and rest carcass bones and little bit of meat attached to say ribs would be grinded up be turned to your dog food and that old vegetable oils from Mcdonalds and other places used as a form of lube for the equipment the skins would be saved and sold and hauled on a flatbed to another location to be made into anything needing leather or fur the blood is also used for other products including makeup...
