If we were a bunch of young single guys at a party, and we’re sitting around talking about stuff that guys talk about, there would be some girls that would have to come and interrupt our conversation. For example, if we were talking college football (I don’t watch football, but am using it for an example), the cute girl in the group of girls would SHIp test us by jumping in and trying to take over the conversation. She would say something like, “I don’t like football.” The Simp in the group would respond by saying something like, “Well, I don’t follow it/never watch it/it’s not my favorite sport.” I would ignore her. The guy who tells her to shut her cake hole would get her favor.

In @blairandgretchen ’s post he talks about $40k in a remodel and ammo. Provider and Protector. He’s the Man. Wifey loves that about him YET nitpicks over seemingly small stuff, right? A SHIp test. Women do this. If he changes for her, or looks to her for leadership or approval, she loses respect for him. He bought a nail gun for trim. The trim is what gives a house class. Wifey loves a classy house, but looks at him odd about buying the nail gun? Just a test. He passed her SHIp test.

No - I used to load .45 for the gun club when I was 17, so I’m familiar. I did see a couple of guys blow pistols apart with weak load/no load rounds - and just met a guy that had a rifle blow up in his face (probably from some poor gunsmith’s work) -

So I don’t. When I came here I was amazed at affordability and accessibility to firearms vs New Zealand, so I’ve always just bought new.
