On issue with the RSO classification, even for a local trucking outfit of some kind is obviously the restriction on that individual. Can’t be within X feet of a school, daycare, playground, etc. How would that work for a local dump truck, or construction, or even a lawn care company?
gentleroger, TX2Day, Wargames and 2 others Thank this. -
I don't have those type of restrictions. My judge specifically struck any restrictions having to do with minors from my sentencing order. I wonder if making this known to a potential employer would help.

Mention it & have paperwork to prove there are no restrictions.gentleroger Thanks this.

It will be tough with that in your back ground. That said, are you volunteering that info when it ain't necessary? If it's an 8 year old charge, maybe some companies only want to go back 3 to 5 years. I know everyone does a background check, but answer the question as it's asked on the application. Don't volunteer more info than necessary. If they ask you, then you explain.
How much longer are you on probation for?
Is it unsupervised probation?
Who all have you applied to?
Don't forget to post your location so we can attempt to help you.88 Alpha, TripleSix, Numb and 1 other person Thank this. -
I’m pretty sure Western Express only asked me about my previous 3 years when I applied. If they say no, it’s going to be tough.
Numb and dreambig16 Thank this. -

I think I am offering this information when it's not necessary but my probation officer's supervisor made it clear he wants me to make sure the company that hires me knows. I think this may be something they're asking me to do that I may not be legally required to do. I have received a copy of my background Check from Assurint and it has every crime I ever committed since 18 and offender registry. Not sure every company uses Assurint for their background checks.
I'm in the South Jersey area. I've applied to almost every megacarrier and I'm trying to avoid Western Express if I can. I'd also like to do flatbed overall. -
Western Express hasn't told me no but I was hoping to land somewhere with a better reputation as my first company. The pay is very important to me and Western Express is offering the lowest pay.
