My Sarge; motor pool man prior ASA, would spout phrases like this.
"Komm her, Fräulein, mit der Unterhose in deiner Hand."

German to me, but that is what he said...Female mechanic and coolant hose maybe?

    Yep, lawsuits can drag on.

I had one go 17 years from time it was filed to final verdict at the Federal Court of Appeal (I'm in Canada).

Long process, defendants lawyers tried everything to delay and frustrate the process, but I had lawyers as well and in the end won the case with a unanimous decision and legal fees were awarded as well.

Lawyer retainer fees are a real pain and the kicker. Most times they are endless until the case goes to trial.!

Its not very common in America you get your legal fees paid in a lawsuit too I think it should in some cases but, rarely, wish they would for like civil asset forfeiture for example> that has been getting out of hand lately even the US supreme court has made comments on that they wanted a good case for it going for it sadly they won't change it unless there a active case seems even if they created this issue...

Wow, I thought that was a pretty standard item in Canada and the USA.

Usually, but not always the side that loses has to pay legal fees of the other party. There is a set schedule that the courts use. It's not always 100%, but a fair chunk anyways.

Interesting, that's for that, I learned something new today lol

Burn as much driving as sitting? No.

But seriously I doubt these trailer moves are worth much. I get that nobody should work for free and I agree. But how much we talking here?
