Maybe you don't know how bad is at Schneider right now. The average is $1.5 - $1.6 per mile.

How much you think all these carriers playing games with the rates?
Like selling loads to yourself, say Schneider logistics selling loads to Schneider National.
Create a brokerage company, sell your loads cheap to your own carrier and the flease guys not really truly getting the real rate.
Somehow most all these carriers with contractors leased on always getting ridiculous low rates.
You don't really believe carriers with leverage and trailer pools are locking in below market rates do you lol.Short Fuse EOD, SL3406, Constant Learner and 4 others Thank this. -

You know a mega carrier is not locking down $1 a mile loads lol.
Ask Schneider to see the contracts for those $0.60 a mile loads. Then again that doesn't matter because they can photoshop it.
I've gotten burned by multiple carriers playing games with rates in the past, as why I only book my own loads from now on.
There is nothing more despicable than your own carrier screwing you.Last edited: Sep 27, 2024

This is exactly why I sold my truck after 7 years and started working for a company. I wasn’t making any better money for my personal account than I am now. Of course I had a business bank account, but that was for truck expense. And when I sold out, Uncle Sam cleaned out all the profit I made off the equity.
DAX_ Thanks this.
