Jesus man, Longshoremen are not our brothers. Think about that when you sit at a door for ten hours.

 

And just like that they are back to work. The strike has been paused till January.

Report: Dockworkers Union to Suspend Strike

A person briefed on the agreement said the ports sweetened their wage offer from about 50% over six years to 62%.

 

I bet all those people that went panic buying supplies are feeling silly about now (much of which wasn't an imported product like TP)

 

90% of the toilet paper in the US is made here or in Mexico. Why in the world is that the first thing people run out and buy is beyond me.

 

Okay, hold on here, I read a dockworker crane operators salary is NOT $300,000/year. Typically, a crane operator makes, on average, $28.05. Some as "low" as $14.90, and an industry high of $40.14. Typical east coast BS'er telling us that.
