Lovely how megas are routing guys right around these areas then ask about the load arrival time when no one even has diesel gas water to buy and STILL no power for up to 300 miles from the center of all of this. Pair that with the port strike next door and fuel island coms constantly dropping so you cant buy it even if they have it. Like they think only the 41/26 are effected and nothing else

Home time for 2 weeks, coming right up

    Already out.....
FEMA running out of hurricane relief money while spending hundreds of millions on migrants | National | thecentersquare.com
In April of this year, FEMA announced $640 million in new funding, $300 million for “direct funding” to help immigrants settle in the U.S. while the other $340 million went to cities via grants for the same purpose.

    Welcome to America!

The feds got billions for Ukraine and illegals ,

but when American citizens need help , suddenly there ain’t no money

wonder if it’s because the rats in DC know who those Appalachian Americans are gonna vote for ?

Plenty of solid rock there. Engineers can do about anything it just comes down to a matter of cost. I would think as much money as that stretch has cost in the past they probably should've done a little better job and been money ahead.

It lost its status as a hurricane over South Georgia. It was a tropical rain event over the Appalachian's.

The storm actually became post tropical over Tennessee on September 27th. Regardless it’s was still a catastrophic storm that caused substantial damage and massive loss of life.
Remember that tropical cyclones can extend hundreds of miles from the eye, which in Helene’s case was already causing problems in Georgia,Tennessee and the Carolinas before the eye made landfall.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the WMO retires the name off the list at their next meeting.
