Trailer is tri axle. Front and rear axles lift. Center axle has abs sensors. Disc brakes on all 3 axles. The other day I had the rear axle lifted and could spin it in reverse by hand but it would lock up if I tried to spin it forward by hand.
was under a load the other day with all axles down and when I would release the brake it was like one axle was applying break pressure in 1second pulses…like abs was engaging.
All 4 tires on rear axle look like they have been drug on spots around the diameter.
any ideas what’s going on here?

That might be it

What would cause a rotor to break like this. Just too much salt/rust?
Concorde Thanks this. -

Cheap steel and salt on the roads certainly makes it worse.
If available look for coated rotors will last longer in Rust belt.Rideandrepair, Shawn2130 and Oxbow Thank this.
