I was on the Big Island. It’s a little over 200 miles if you loop the whole thing. There were maybe 3 trucks on the island with sleepers while I was there and all they could do was container work because of the length limit. The guy I worked for had to buy 47ft cow trailers to make the length limit with a W900 daycab.
Edit: I think it was ACR Water that had some sleeper trucks. They definitely looked out of place. Lol.Last edited: Nov 23, 2024

No weigh stations. Yes on DOT cops. But it was common for me to be 100k+ gross with an end dump. And you also see heavy equipment being moved on small lowboys.Chinatown Thanks this.
