- lite controllers: A small percentage (0.3%) of adults infected with HIV exhibit natural control over the virus, suppressing viral replication without treatment. However, this does not mean they are completely immune to AIDS, as they can still experience disease progression and opportunistic infections.
- Non-progressors: A few individuals with HIV do not progress to AIDS despite being infected, but they can still transmit the virus. These non-progressors may have unique immune responses or genetic factors that contribute to their slow disease progression.
- HIV-resistant individuals: Some people may never become infected with HIV despite repeated exposure, but this is extremely rare and not fully understood.
- Vaccine development: Researchers are working on developing an HIV vaccine, but it is still an ongoing effort. Even if a vaccine is successful, it may not provide complete immunity, and individuals may still require antiretroviral therapy (ART) to manage their infection.

lol In summary, while there are some aspects that may contribute to a reduced risk of HSV infection or milder symptoms, it is unlikely that someone can become completely “immune” to herpes. The virus can remain latent, and there is no vaccine available to provide complete protection.
well maybe i have it and im the one spreading it #### it im the problem oh well... my ex wife said she had it this explains alot but dude herpes is a joke compaired to HIV and all the other stuff can be fixed with antibiotics.. dont let STDs stop you and your dreams of having 3-7 latina women in south america is all im saying life is too short - pepe -
You can be a carrier and asymptomatic but you said you get tested for it so it should show up if the test is looking for HSV even if you are asymptomatic. I don't date outside my race so no worries there as far as dreams go.

Go for it. I'd say grab a pair of long pants a light windbreaker, maybe some good running shoes instead of flip-flops and take off. I'm sure you'll figure it out in no time. What are you waiting on.
