    I ran from Dallas to Stanton round trip weekly for two years. I used US83 and US281 frequently but any SH or better is fine in the Dakotas. Every town has a fuel stop with a diesel pump due to the ag related activities that dominate the region.

    Gets downright nasty in the winter though…..
