There's a 6 CPM bonus for OTR. I'm not sure what the reason for the difference between SW regional and MW regional is.jcarring99 Thanks this.

The vast majority of regional guys get home every week, OTR guys stay out several weeks at a time. Not sure why a 10k discrepancy between MW and SW.cdavis188, rokue, jcarring99 and 1 other person Thank this.

Swung through Fremont this morning for a splash of DEF, counted 36 new trucks on the line, and I see they already have a Mack parked over with the trade line.

So had another truck issue. Fortunately I was at CB and just had to spend an extra night. The MIL had been on for a while and when they PMd the truck they found the NOx sersor was bad, so I had to spend the night so they could change it in the morning. That set me too far back to get to southern Gerorgia before Friday at 4 so I left that load in CB and picked up a load in Lincoln that I'm delivering in Oregon Monday. Then I'm going to Port Angeles, WA to get lumber. I've picked up in Chehalis before so I assume it's the same premise but this place seems to be a bit off the beaten path.
I'm heading to Evansville, IN. Trying to decide the best route the storm will mostly be ahead of me but it looks like I might catch it near the SD line on Wednesday if I run 90 to 29. The other possibility would be 84 to 80 which I think would run me south of everything. It'd be nice to see different terrain but mostly I want to keep things low stress and get some miles down.
Since pay stubs are broken I'm not exactly sure where I'm at but this has been another mediocre quarter (the settlement sheet from the Macro isn't the same format as the emailed one). I think I'm at about 23k for the quarter as of Tuesday.Knucklehead and rokue Thank this. -
Port Angeles is a decent place to pick up. If you run out of hours, you will just have to find a place to hide for 10. Not a lot of options up there as far as struck stops. Decent scenery, but on the way up along the river there are some tight, blind corners. There are a couple sporty corners in Port Angeles as well. They aren't bad as long as the other traffic doesn't crowd the corner.Knucklehead, cdavis188, DonRobbie and 2 others Thank this.

that doesn’t mean a whole lot i learned. There’s at least a couple short haul guys with Mack’s and they had them parked there, probably for lack of other parking on the lot. Last time i was in Fremont, i parked in the trade line because there was literally nowhere else to stick a rig. There’s so much new and used equipment parked around the yard that it’s ridiculous. I talked to Shane one time and those Volvo’s and Mack’s are pretty reliable trucks. Only reason why i can see to trade the Mack’s in are because no one wants to drive them. The engineer who thought that interior layout was okay and a seat position only suitable for a monkey should be shot on sightLast edited: Dec 8, 2024

My email came at 2:20 this morning. But none of my quarterly miles were recorded.
