As for the OP, Love's is definitely the best out of all the chains. To PFJ credit though, Buffet's been pouring money into remodels and the new PFJ remodeled showers are just as big and nice as the new Love's showers.

The bad thing about Love's being the best of the mega chains is that most (not all, but most) of them on major roadways fill up very fast, forget about it after sunset.

 

Bitter boomer? No, the younger everyone gets a trophy generation complains about the stupidest shat. “Gee, I tried to take a shower at the busiest time of day and had to wait, that’s not fair.”

Aren’t showers optional? Dumping the water bottle down the butt cheeks counts as cleaning the butt. Wash feet in sink and pitts, so why a shower.

 

Lol well, I’m old enough to have parents were born in the 20s. Y’all do realize they said much the same about entitlement with regarding our generation right?

Of course, we're flatbedders, so we shower when it's convenient once or twice a week, so...

 

That’s why I quit being an owner operator. It’s impossible to compete with companies like this. You can’t get enough of a discount at the big chains as normal price at smaller truck stops.

On a different note I met a guy the other day who I don’t think was even getting one shower a week. The smell was so bad it was seared into my nostrils for hours later. Kept smelling it. That’s beyond nasty.

 

Just imagine what the inside of his truck smells like ..lol
